Trained as a landscape architect and urban planner, Pin has over 16 years of professional design and planning experience. Most of her work focuses on public land and open space, including neighborhood parks and playgrounds, community parks and sports fields, streetscapes, as well as other civic and institutional facilities. She has considerable experience coordinating the production of complex interdisciplinary construction document packages and has performed such duties in a number of projects including the 30-acre Waterfront Park Renovation for the City of Martinez, the Sailboat House Shoreline Improvements for the City of Oakland, the Town Hall and Plaza Renovation for the Town of Colma, the Presidio Parkway costing package for the Presidio Trust, the Purissima Ball elds for the Town of Los Altos Hills, and various accessible path improvement projects on the University of California Berkeley campus. She is a firm believer in sustainable design and applies Bay-Friendly landscape guidelines to all projects.
