As a licensed landscape architect, Siting is interested in creating intimate and elegant garden space, as well as urban ecology and sustainable water management. She believes landscape design is not only creating appealing looks, but important for growing social, cultural and ecological loops from a site.
Siting enjoys walking, and photographing with her camera. It is her way to communicate with the nature, the city and her heart. Photography and landscape design are two ways of building connections between herself and the environment, but share the same eyes to find the beauty.
Prior to join in Thuilot Associates, she has been involved in a wide range of projects from civic, commercial to residential types, and professionally practiced in Shenzhen and Yangtze River Delta Area in China and St Louis, MO on various project scales. She has diverse capabilities in the design team, from digital modeling and detail drawings to project management. Her career path in this professional realm starts from Southeast University in Nanjing, and obtaining an MLA degree with honor at Washington University in St. Louis. Besides from the academic study, Siting has MLA studio and GIS teaching experience as a faculty assistance at WashU.
